Calories from fat should be 1/3 or less of total calories (ex. 33 Calories from Fat. 100 Total Calories)
Rely liquids (smoothies, protein shakes, soups, fruit purees/baby food)
Move around after eating
Avoid:
Large amounts of food at a time
High sugar foods (fruit juices, candy, etc.)
High fiber foods
Laying down after eating
Carbonated beverages (soda pop)
Alcohol
Beans and legumes
Nuts and seeds
For some people, healthy fats such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado, salmon, and organic peanut butter, don't bother them. It is a good idea to test them out in small portions first to see if they are okay for you to eat.
